Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the vibrant heart of Naples on Via S. Antonio a Capodimonte, Pizzeria e Trattoria Regina Vittoria offers an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience that is both delightful and heartwarming. Specializing in traditional recipes, this pizzeria serves up some of the most memorable pizzas you’ll find in the city — each bite a perfect harmony of fresh, high-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship.

The menu shines with classic offerings such as the Margherita, a lovingly balanced medley of tangy pomodoro, creamy mozzarella, pungent 24-month-aged Grana cheese, extra virgin olive oil, and fragrant basil, all for an incredibly affordable €4.50. For those seeking a lighter but equally flavorful option, the Marinara combines savory tomato, oregano, garlic, and olive oil to create a simple yet unforgettable taste of Naples at just €4.00. If you’re a fan of richer flavors, the Capricciosa with its layers of mozzarella, salami, mushrooms, artichokes, and aged Grana is a hearty delight that speaks to Naples’ rich culinary heritage.

Beyond pizzas, the restaurant also offers delightful antipasti like the Frittura mista — a crispy assortment of crocchè and zeppoline — perfect for sharing or as a tempting start to your meal. Don't miss the Pinotti fritti, pizza dough fried golden and topped with peppery arugula and succulent cherry tomatoes, a true testament to the chef’s creativity and love for traditional Neapolitan flavors.

The atmosphere here is intimate and inviting, capturing a genuine family vibe that permeates every corner of the trattoria. As several guests have noted, the owner Pino brings a warmth and humor to the dining experience that elevates the meal beyond just food. Whether it’s the playful surprise of a heart-shaped pizza or his thoughtful gestures like fetching cigarettes for patrons, Pino’s hospitality creates a connection that stays long after your last bite.

Customers often praise the unbeatable authenticity of the pizza, describing it as “the best in Naples” and “truly the best in the world.” The crust is freshly baked to a perfect balance of crisp and chew, with toppings that boast colors, aromas, and flavors that evoke the very spirit of Neapolitan tradition. Vegan options packed with vibrant vegetables further widen the appeal, ensuring everyone at the table finds something delicious to savor.

Whether you’re fueling up after exploring nearby treasures like the Archaeological Museum and Capodimonte Museum or simply craving an unforgettable pizza adventure, Pizzeria e Trattoria Regina Vittoria stands out as a must-visit gem in Naples. With welcoming service, warm ambience, and delectable dishes priced to delight, it captures not just the taste of Italy but the heart of Neapolitan hospitality.

We had such a lovely experience today. After visiting the Archaeological Museum and the Capodimonte Museum in Naples, we stopped for lunch at Pizzeria e Trattoria Regina Vittoria — and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The pizza was real Neapolitan style, absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The owner even made a heart-shaped pizza for my wife, and that little surprise honestly melted our hearts. He was incredibly kind and funny, just like our waiter, who also recommended some desserts for us — and they were 100% worth it! A wonderful place with amazing food and warm, welcoming people. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Naples

This restaurant serves the best pizza I’ve ever had in Naples – truly the best in the world. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. Since there were no shops nearby selling cigarettes, he even went out of his way to buy some from a distant place for me. The pizza and pasta are both absolutely delicious. The pizza is freshly baked and smells amazing!

A Real Neapolitan Gem in Capodimonte If you’re hunting for the Naples of everyday life rather than a laminated tourist menu, this little pizzeria in Capodimonte is the one. It’s a neighborhood spot with the warmest welcome in town—staff who greet you like family, a wood-fired oven breathing quietly in the corner, and a steady hum of locals debating football over tumblers of house wine. The pizzas are the headliners: soft, airy cornicione with just the right leopard spotting, bright San Marzano tang, and fiordilatte that melts cleanly into the sauce. Classics sing here—Margherita, Marinara, salsiccia e friarielli—each balanced between char and chew. You taste Naples in every bite. Here’s the move, though: ask for pasta. It’s not on the fixed menu, but if you inquire, the kitchen will usually oblige with whatever they’re cooking that day. Think a slow-cooked ragù that clings to wide ribbons, or a simple spaghetti with tomatoes so sweet they hardly need anything else. It feels like a favor, and it tastes like the most honest plate of food in the city. Getting there is half the charm. Make the uphill walk through Capodimonte—the old quarter where you thread past tiny shops selling glistening fish on crushed ice, pyramids of peaches and tomatoes, sugar-dusted pastries, and proud stacks of salumi. By the time you arrive, you’ve earned your seat, and the first bite is all the better for it. Worth the walk—and then some. This is Naples as it lives and eats, far from the souvenir stands, and exactly where you want to be.

An amazing place — I highly recommend it! I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, but it turned out to have everything I was looking for. The pizza was perfect — the dough was light and delicate, the ingredients were fresh, and the tomatoes were sweet and authentically Italian. The service was exceptionally friendly. The gentleman who prepared the pizza was full of energy and kindness. He even surprised me with a heart-shaped pizza and asked my husband to bring it to me as a gift — such a thoughtful gesture! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
